There are few challenges more prestigious than the Queen’s Scout Award – it’s the highest award available to young people in Scouting. This one really is a badge to wear with pride. You must be aged between 16 and 25 years old to complete the Queen’s Scout Award. You also need to be a member of Explorers or the Scout Network for at least 18 months from the date you register. But you can start preparing now for this amazing challenge.

How to earn your award

First thing’s first – get registered as soon as you decide you’re going to go for the Queen’s Scout Award, register at scouts.org.uk/qsa or via Compass. You can do this at any time from your 16th birthday.

Working towards your award

You can start working towards your Queen’s Scout Award any time from the date of your 16th birthday, so long as you complete the following four steps by the time you’re 25 years old. You must still be a member of Explorers or the Scout Network when you complete the challenges.
